The Results

Q1 According to the Aberdeen Group's 'Building a Green Supply Chain', Best in Class organisations experience on average a 6% decrease in energy costs in one year. Organisations that are slow to green their supply chain on average experience a 7% increase.

Q2 Aberdeen's research showed that Best in Class decreased supply costs by an average of 2% each year while late adopters saw a 6% increase.

Q3 Facilities/operations costs were also shown to be reduced by 2% for Best in Class but rose by 4% for organisations that have a less mature green supply chain.

Q4 In common with facilities costs, logistics costs decreased by 2% at the top of the pile and increased by 4% at the bottom
